Netherhill’s history

Netherhill is a small village in west-central Saskatchewan, in the Rural Municipality of Kindersley No. 290. It sits about 20 kilometres east of the town of Kindersley, at the junction of Highway 7 and Highway 658.

The community incorporated as a village on April 28, 1910.

Netherhill has produced a couple of people who made their mark beyond the prairies. Bob Bourne, a left winger, played in the NHL from 1974 to 1988, and Roxana Spicer has worked as a documentary filmmaker and CBC investigative journalist.
